WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT THIS INTERVIEW
“NHS” is not one employer. NHS England, NHS trusts, foundation trusts, ambulance trusts, mental health trusts, community providers and ICBs recruit separately, so local values, job descriptions and interview processes may differ.
NHS England works with government on funding and priorities, oversees safe and effective services, supports workforce development, drives improvement and innovation, and supports national digital services. Local NHS providers deliver patient-facing care.
NHS organisations are working through financial pressure, productivity demands and long waits across services. Current planning priorities include reducing waste, improving flow and access, and living within allocated budgets.
Every one of these came from something we read about NHS. The sources are linked, so you can check them.
